Directions to GHCOG from I-5

From the North:

Follow I-5 South to Olympia.
Take Exit 104 Aberdeen/Ocean Beaches, Hwy 8 West.
Follow this highway for approximate 45 minutes, it brings you straight into Aberdeen.
(you will pass by McCleary, Elma & Montesano before you get to Aberdeen)

From the South:

Follow I-5 North.
Just past Centralia take Exit 88B/Hwy 12 West.
Hwy 12 goes right into Elma.
Just before entering Elma, there will be signs directing you to the continuation of Hwy 12 onto Aberdeen.
The highway on-ramp is on the left just after passing under the overpass.
Continue on Hwy 12 to Aberdeen, approximately 25 minutes.

Highway 12 brings you right into Aberdeen on Wishkah St:

  • You will be driving straight through town.
  • Go past the McDonalds & Burger King then across a short bridge.
  • After the bridge get into the center lane of traffic going through downtown.
  • Landmarks: Comcast on right, you should stay in the center lane. Continue straight ahead through next two lights. Do not turn to the right to go to Hoquiam/Ocean Beaches.
  • Approximately four blocks ahead traffic will split to the left and right, you need to go right and should already be in the right hand lane.
  • Continue on and cross over the railroad tracks.
  • Wooding Street is the 3rd street on the right after you cross over the RR tracks. Turn right at Harbor Battery.
  • Once on Wooding Street the GHCOG office are ½ block down on the left.

Parking: Visitor parking is available on the right side of the street across from GHCOG offices. The sign notes - additional Port Parking.
